The Mission Statement of the Florida Medical Directors Association is
"to
promote the highest quality care in nursing homes by providing leadership,
professional education and advocacy".
This is achieved through a monthly newsletter, an annual meeting, this
website and also the availability of the FMDA Board of Directors and
officers to help physicians deal with individual issues.
Florida is a unique state in terms of post acute care.
Unfortunately, some
may say,..."What happens here
today will occur in the rest of the country
tomorrow".
